{Mixed Media Tutorial} Snowflake Tag by Carol

Hi everyone, Carol here today to share how I made this snowflake tag. I'm sure, like me, you're all in full Christmas mode at the minute (unless of course you're one of those organised which case look upon this as inspiration for next year 😄).

STAMPlorations and the Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop + New Coffee Stamps + Comment to Win

Heads up, STAMPlorations friends! There's a fun blog hop starting today for those of us who love or enjoy a cup of coffee (or tea or chocolate)! The hop is hosted by Amy Tsuruta and Chaitali Narla.

Amy and Chaitali have invited lots of sponsors for the hop, including STAMPlorations, who are offering tons of fabulous prizes! Play along by creating a winter-themed project featuring coffee, tea and/or cocoa images. Post it on your blog and then link it up at the linky found on the Coffee Loving Cardmakers blog. The linky is open until Friday, December 16. Winners of sponsor prizes will be randomly drawn! (Psst! Keep scrolling for a free digi stamp you can use in your projects!)

Link up your winter-themed coffee, tea, and/or cocoa card(s) here

Check out what we've created:

Guest designer HELEN G.

Guess what? We will randomly pick THREE (3) coffee- (or tea- or chocolate-) loving crafters to win a few more prizes: one will receive a $10 gift certificate to the store, one will receive the Coffee Petites stamps & die set, and one will receive the Good Books and Coffee stamp set. Simply leave a comment on this post by 11:59 p.m. Monday, December 19. Easy peasy! Winners will be announced in our December Challenges and Blog Hops winners post in January so make sure to follow our blog so you don't miss that post.

And here's that free digi stamp you can use to create coffee projects to link up to the Winter Coffee Lovers blog hop for even more chances at the sponsor prizes. It's the digi stamp we currently offer on our Never-Ending Anything Goes Challenge page. If you use the image, be sure to link up your project there too because we draw two winners of gift certificates or stamp sets whenever we reach entries in multiples of 50 (we're at 1,244 entries and counting).

{Spotlight Project} Becca Makes a Gift Card Holder for Art Lovers

I don't know about you, but I have a tendency to attract a lot of fellow art lovers as friends. And when birthdays and Christmas rolls around, if I don't have time to whip up something handmade then I love to give the gift of Micheal's. :) Because who doesn't love to shop at Michael's?

So today, I'm going to show you how to make this artsy gift card holder.  Yep - you read that right - this is a gift card holder!

All of the stamps I'm going to use in my tutorial are from the stamp club set, Life in Full Color.
